Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

1.
when I click on network icon on top panel , a drop down menu appears.
Clicking on any item there ( about / edit connections etc) does nothing, no window appears ..

2.
Also, is there any reason why nm-applet takes over 500 MB of memory?

If you're running Maverick, you're running a broken copy of an unofficial package for nm-applet from a PPA. Please downgrade to the original version from Maverick: sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome/maverick.

Marking this as Invalid since I know these issues aren't happening in the package in Maverick, and some similar issues have already been fixed in Natty.

Changed in network-manager (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Invalid
