Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

Unity 3.6.0-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu Natty alpha 3

1. Click the Ubuntu button.
2. Click "Find Media Apps".

What you see: LibreOffice Draw is shown as a media application.
What you should see: LibreOffice Draw is not present.

LibreOffice Draw is no more a "media application" than LibreOffice Impress is. (Both of them let you insert movies or sound into their documents, but that's a pretty tenuous association.)

Desired resolution:

The Dash filter categories should be identical to the Software Center categories.

Actually, all applications present on "Graphics" and "Multimedia" categories of GNOME classic menu are on "Media" category of Unity. I think this is proposital.

The Dash filter categories should be identical to the Software Center categories, this is important for consistency and should also solve this problem.

It is also an issue in the following scenario:

1. User goes to the dash and filters on one category
2. User searches for an available application and installs it
3. If the application is not in the same category in software center/desktop files then the application will not appear in the list of installed applications with the fame filter applied
