Subject: galeon: cookies are never saved
Package: galeon
Version: 1.3.16-1
Severity: grave
Justification: causes non-serious data loss
No matter what my cookie policy is set to, if I close down galeon
all the cookies are cleared. This is something that has just shown up
recently. I have tried this under a fresh user account with the same
problem.

Hi,
I am not convinced that this will be fixed in 1.7.2, the original patch
that was taken from the mozilla bug (moz bug 246675), was never applied
to the 1.7 branch, and hence the fix in the other bug (moz bug 251648)
was also never applied to the 1.7 branch.
You probably want to check carefully that this is really fixed in your
1.7.2 package, as it isn't a problem in general with the 1.7 releases
from mozilla, only because of the added patch in the debian package.
Cheers
