btw, i have no problem to get authorized with twitter, but timeline can't be upgraded after account added

comments 4 are part of the log file.
And it seems its because of vpn, gwibber can't work with vpn, neither openvpn nor pptp. After I disable vpn, and connect directly, it works.

this issue is still there, gwibber can't connect to twitter via openvpn, pptp is fine

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better,
you please check this again with the next weekend ken is going to upload a ppa and hopes that resolve your problem.. incompleting for now if you again see this after the ppa install you can again new its status.

We are getting ready to publish gwibber build in a testing PPA for testing a number of gwibber-service changes, one of which is changing the library we use for fetching data. I would love to have you test this using vpn, perhaps it will fix your issue.
