Bug Description
Tools -> Extensions -> Install
In the file-selection dialog that comes up, instead of picking a (local) file, paste the URL of the extension into the Location: box. TBird goes down in flames. Now maybe this Location: box doesn't accept URLs, but given that it is a free-form text-input box, TBird (or whatever Gnome/GTK/etc component is responsible for this dialog) should do some basic sanity-checking on the input before doing something (apparently) dangerous with it and then crashing when it doesn't work.
