Bug Description
The newest upgrade to the software-properties breaks the application "software-
This can easily be reproduced by opening Synaptic, selecting "Settings" and "repositories".
Also, you can test this from terminal.
Downgrading this version (0.80) to the previous version (0.78.1) solves this issue.
