Bug Description
On my Vostro V130, the brightness keys are not recognized by the kernel in Natty, although the keycodes are seen by X or whatever is listening for keypresses, because the OSD notification for brightness appears.

This was for the brightness up key.
However, the actual brightness of the screen does not change.
Furthermore, no matter what the actual brightness setting is for this system, it is always seen in /sys/class/
According to showkey, the scancodes for the brightness up and brightness down keys, in order, are:
0xe0 0x54 0xe0 0xd4 # brightness up
0xe0 0x4c 0xe0 0xcc # brightness down
Still according to scankey, the keycodes are:
code clavier 225 appuyer # brightness up
code clavier 225 relâcher
code clavier 224 appuyer # brightness down
code clavier 224 relâcher
