the 11.04 installer crashes on my amd64 mech, seems like some package issues for my videocard

Binary package hint: ubiquity

i was just trying to install the 11.04 version on my rig, something went wrong. Package issues, i assume.Tried it 4 times... same problem everytime.

If you do an install with the network disabled or don't allow updates during install, does it still have issues?

Yes. I tried running the install with and without updates and 3th party
plugins disabled to no avail.

I tried on Virtualbox with network disconnected for several times ,the installer broke down when creating users.
