as said in bug #700449

I find this change:

* Add -lX11 and test with Wl,--no-add-needed. (Closes: #554731)

Please test build the debian package in a PPA/updated natty chroot n if it FTBFS again please reopen the bug and forward the patch if applicable and inform the debian maintainer so that we can sync the package if the FTBFS is fixed also the package contains simple-patchsys rule but you seem to have applied the change inline

This bug was fixed in the package gpe-ownerinfo - 0.28-2ubuntu1
