error involving deletion when at end of folder

This is in vm-8.1.93a, and the following problem *only* occurs if vm-startup-with-summary is set to nil.
(If it's set to t, the error doesn't occur.)

If I'm at the end of my main folder, with no other folders open, the following actions result in an error:

vm-delete-message
vm-quit
[enter VM again]
vm-previous-message
vm-next-message

This results in error:

Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p, nil

And, at this point, if I run

vm-reply

Then I'm prompted to reply to the message that I deleted (but didn't expunge), rather than the last undeleted message of the folder.

Hi Uday,

Sorry for the extensive delay in getting back on this. I have been
super busy in the last few months finishing some research up at my
previous institution and getting prepared for my PhD program in
Australia, to which I am now just settling in. Hopefully in the coming
weeks I can get back into working on VM, in the meantime I will see if
I can take a look at this error.

This looks like it is fixed now. See Bug 706538 for related problems.
