Bug Description

I downloaded and installed AVLinux 4.2 and imported 10 AVCHD lite clips from my Panasonic ZS7 camera into OpenShot. When I clicked on the imported clip to display it, the last approximate 2 seconds of the video, the display went white. I then drug all the clips to the timeline and displayed them, all of them displayed a white screen during the last 2 seconds of each clip.

Hi Andy,

Nice hearing for you and thanks for your great work! I'll try and provide
you a short video clip (as soon as I can) for your testing as I know it can
be difficult to re-create a problem. I'm also a development engineer. I
have no problem editing my video clips when I installed Ubuntu 10.10 and
then installed OpenShot 2.2.1. although I do have problems when I try and
edit a 2 hour movie but I already reported those problems and that's a
separate issue. I only have a problem with my video clips when I try
viewing them in OpenShot using the AVLinux 4.2 installation.

Thanks, Don

I'm not sure what versions of ffmpeg/MLT are packaged with AV Linux 4.2 (I'm still on an older version), but you might want to check those.

Hi Andy,

According to documentation for AVLinux 4.2, FFMPEG ver. 0.6.1svn is being
used and OpenShot ver. 1.3.0 bzr is being used.
