Unity visual glitches

Binary package hint: unity

Right clicking on Unity sidebar i get some artefacts
and visual glitches.
Sometimes maximizing and minimizing i get no more
window decorations for the current application.
I'm using an Nvidia 250GTS and nvidia-current drivers

About the other bug (right click on dock icon => visual glitches) I haven't found
other existing bug reports.

Does this also happen, after you restart compiz ('compiz --replace' from a terminal)? If not, then it's probably bug 690461.

It doesn't happen anymore after restarting compiz,
sidebar menu are now always visible!

I don't know if it is the same bug 690461 because,
I believe, sidebar menu are drawn by nux opengl toolkit.

It still happen if i don't re-launch compiz from terminal (compiz --replace).
Every time i log into natty i have this issue.

Latest nvidia drivers update (260.19.29-0ubuntu1) solved the issue,
I am not able to reproduce it anymore.

After some days I got again the issue, nvidia drivers didn't help.
I'm able to reproduce it by right clicking the sidebar as soon as it appear on
the screen and its icons are not yet displayed.
I hope I was clear explaning the issue otherwise I'll make a video! :)

Lucazade, about the right click issue, could you first click on the desktop and then try to right click on the launcher and see if you see the issue.

If I first click on the desktop then on the launcher the issue is no more visible,
I usually do this to get a working session without glitches (even if sometimes
it is not necessary and work well without clicking the desktop)

This issue has been fixed by today Unity update (3.2.16)
I'm not able to reproduce it anymore

Ok, I've not seen this myself in two weeks time (also got and nvidia-gpu with the binary blob driver). With Lucazade's last comment (#16) I'm closing this as "Fix Released".
