regression: mail plugin doesn't doesn't swallow mail app icon any more

The mail plugin icon worked as a launcher before. If a mail program was running, it used to indicate it with a triangle (as other launchers do). Please restore the old behavior.

this has been removed because the icon holds a sub-icon for the different
mail accounts, rather than the different windows of the mail-readers.
possibly we could merge all the accounts in a single icon, but that sounds
like another mail applet...
or if you use a single application to read your mails, like Thunderbird, you
might want to have a Thunderbird-applet then, provided Thunderbird has a
DBus interface.

BTW, clicking plugin's icon makes mail app launch. IMHO this is the app icon behavior.

I would like this feature back as well. It was very useful. Maybe with the scale compiz feature this "bug" could be resolved
