Bug Description

Hello,

I have OpenERP v6 RC1 installed, and the latest connector and related modules from trunk installed as well. On the Magento side I have v1.4.1.1 installed.

I created product attributes/groups/sets in Magento, and imported them into OpenERP. Everything seems to be working except for attributes with the "Catalog Input Type for Store Owner" property set to "Multiple Select". The other input type options work including "Dropdown". In OpenERP this attribute is set as type "char" and does not have any of the predefined fields from Magento.

On this page: https://launchpad.net/magentoerpconnect/ this feature below is listed:

   * imports Magento custom product attributes in a click, even "select" or "multi-select" attributes (options are imported on the fly)
---

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just something with my set-up, any advise would be welcome.

Hello I have magento V5.015 and magento-openerp connect from Bazzar branch magentoerpconnect_generic.
The same problem as Colm, multi attributes created in magento are not showing in openerp. I have tried to include information in openerp (respecting the exact name convention with a comma) It does not export to magento.
Thanks for any update on this issue.

The author has givin me this explanation by mail:
"The feature isnt complete. It works in some cases for example the product category listing etc. but not in every field."
Thanks for the response Sharron.

Hi Picou
Supporting the multiselect field is not so easy. It's why we start by changing the way to store magento field.
I am working on it, and I think I will finish my change at the end of the month.
After that it will be easy to improve the connector and support all multiselect fields.
Here is the branch I am working on : lp:~akretion-team/magentoerpconnect/configurable_product_and_attribut_in_json
I set the bug in progress

Changed in magentoerpconnect:
status: New → In Progress

I came across this request today. Ability to change attributes for many products at once. Ping for implementation on this.

Hi Kyle,

This request is related to the Magento attribute type called "Multiple Select" (found under "Catalog Input Type for Store Owner" in Magento attributes). This attribute type is not fully supported by the connector at this time, thus the request.

The ability to select multiple products in OpenERP and update attributes would be a welcome feature (similar to mass action in Magento), although it might be best to have a separate request to avoid confusion.

Hi all
This is in progress and this feature will implemented only on trunk version.
The trunk version will be stable and release in september as 6.1
