This will help us to find and resolve the problem. I couldn't reproduce this bug in a 10.10 2.6.35-23-generic (i386) with empathy 2.32.1-0ubuntu1

This is an issue as I am writing this comment, I do only have my username and I have the correct password and I am still geting a facebook network error.
