the only problem that it now conflict with clicking on the icons for (email, twitter... etc)
because it must be on the li element

anyways I added hover effect and click function handler in dashboard_javascript and will try to solve the conflicts

The problem now is that some elements are highlighted on mouseover AND get a pointing hand icon, when in fact they are not clickable. The behavior all around is not consistent.

So maybe we can put this as:

Tasks list can be clickable. (There is only one action).

People list should not highlight, since there are elements inside it that are links.

Services list on Profile page can be clickable. (There is only one link)

Whole stories really should be highlighted either.

That last one should read:

Whole stories really should *not* be highlighted either.

Is there enough information to commit a fix?

I think the easiest and most consisten behavior might be:

All list elements highlight on mousover. (looks cool)

No list element has to be clickable.

Only actual HREF links turn the pointer into a hand.

Christopher, I added some css changes that now remove the hand, by default, on hovered list items, so now only the href links within them will turn change the cursor from it's default state.

Is this the sort of solution you were looking for? I'll mark as fixed for now & you can reopen if you notice more inconsistencies or if you were looking for something else.

I think that's a separate issue.

This looks fixed to me. It only concerns the list elements.

I've addressed the cursor in text edit mode on title hovers. Let me know via the other bug if any other instances of this are present.
