Docked apps only executed after "opening" effects

Bug Description

It seems that any docked app is only executed after the "opening" animation that takes roughly 2.5 sec and makes any system look slower than it actually is.
This also happens with the trash docklet and Cardapio helper but not with the "show desktop", which in my opinion has the correct behavior.

Using:
Docky 2.1.0
bzr docky r1709 ppa

I can assure you that Docky starts the program before the animation even begins. So any delay you perceive is just your system (most likely) giving higher priority to Docky's animations over actually launching the new application.

Changed in docky:
status: New → Invalid

This is very evident in the cardapio helper, where the menu takes longer to
open on the dock than on the panel, and it only dismiss not immediately
after clicking on the icon again but after the animation ends.

If the system is giving higher priority to the animations than the
application its supposed to launch, my guess its still a bug (not
necessarily on Docy's end)..

Cardapio's helper just sets the proper DockyItemCommand which when clicked shows Cardapio. The command uses D-Bus to do so and there's nothing else going on - everything's flyweight.
