Merge looks good to me, but here is a comment:
In changelog, you have mentioned that the only change is to add a build-depend, while in reality other things have also been modified to suit that change. Mention it as well, like this, for example:

- (Build-)depend on default-jre/-jdk.
- debian/rules: Change the path of JAVA_HOME to suit with the gcj-jdk -> default-jdk transition.

@Angel, thanks for adding a new debdiff.

It's worth noting that source/distro/doc/user-manual.odt could not be represented in the diff, as it is a binary file. That will need retrieving from the upstream tarball by whomever sponsors.

Package builds fine on Natty, +1.
