Title bar not updating

When flipping through .tif images (size 7.4MB) the title bar does not always update to the name of the picture being viewed.

it happens to occur with jpegs too

actually, it seems to be a problem with metacity and (maybe) the new ubuntu font-set (just a guess)

they seem to be related.

I get the same issue with gedit

the problem seems to be with compiz, marking as duplicate.
