Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
I am able to browse the software center and see further information on the applications but when I press the install button nothing more than a button press happens.
I have been having issues with the gui not loading unless I first login to the safe mode and then switch user back to standard desktop edition. Maybe these are connected?
I am using a downloaded from ubuntu site 10.10 maverick.
Thanks
Wayne

Thank you for opening this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I would firstly like to ask whether you are unable to install only certain applications or whether you are unable to install all applications from the software center. Also, could you please describe your gui problems in greater detail, it will be helpful to attach screenshots of any problems you are experiencing.
Thanks.
