DVD won't play even with libdvdcss installed

Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

i jus finished installin ubuntu 10.10 and it doesnt matter howmany drivers/plug-ins or media players you install, it just wont play dvd's! i've tryed everything.

is libdvdcss2 one of the things you have installed? http://packages.medibuntu.org/maverick/libdvdcss2.html you can find the package there, it is required to play encrypted dvds (e.g. almost any movie).

yup done that! nvidia black list etc etc i just dont know maybe my dvd device isnt compatible xd!
