Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

i copy text from gedit(near 3.7 kb) into a cell in oo spreadsheet and it crashes - black screen, then default ubuntu's desktop with a window that shows my nickname and asks for pass. i enter my pass and voila - here is my desktop but all applications are closed - that is something like a logoff or reboot. i can reproduce this bug easily

intel core 2 duo t5670
2 gb ram

letspirate, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please attach the gedit file & the spreadsheet this occurs with?

Does this issue occur in LibreOffice Calc?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-calc
