Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
Observed behaviour:
Banshee 1.8.0 (running on Ubuntu 10.0 Maverick Merkat) erroneously treats video files in Google's WebM format as audio files. When Banshee imports a '.webm' file, it is put into the music library instead of the video library. Consequently, when Banshee plays such a file, only the Vorbis audio track is played, while the VP8 video track is ignored.
Expected behaviour:
When Banshee imports a '.webm' file with a VP8 video track, the file is put into the video library. When such a file is played, both the Vorbis audio track and the VP8 video track are played.
