Bug Description

Unity is extremely slow on netbooks. People reported the issue on HP Mini, Toshiba , Acer Aspire One, Asus Eee PC, Gateway and Samsung.

Unity the is default shell for UNE which makes UNE pretty much unusable on its target platfrom.

Thanks for reporting this bug and help to make ubuntu better.

Please, add the unity task, no need to create a duplicate. Duplicating to the other bug then. The compiz rewrite will change that in a positive way in any case.
