Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

After upgrading (yesterday) to ubuntu 10.10, I used "nautilus" to connect over ssh to another filesystem. I opened a file using "geany", modified it, saved it and... the remote file got emptied. This happened in an apache configuration file and (to test it further) in a simple remote text file. The file's size in nautilus' status bar, was kept the same as the original but opening the file with vim over ssh showed it empty(as it really was). Maybe I needed to wait for some time before closing "geany"? Of course, I didn't have any kind of strange behaviours with 10.4.

More Info
------------
I use a Pentium III PC with 384 MB ram, all packages upgraded and up-to-date.
Original installation before reaching 10.10 was: Ubuntu 10.4.

I just discovered that I don't have the problem above with gedit. Haven't tried other editors. I think though that, since nautilus makes the connection, nautilus is the one to transfer the local file to the remote folder and not the editor itself. Geany works as expected with local files, but not with remote files.
