KDE error: remove audio devices KDE has forgot about them. When i do manage devices it shows my sound cards in grey and i cannot enable them. I am playing amarok

Bug Description

does not show a sound card hence no sound...when i start amarok it gives error saying that

KDE detected that one or more internal sound devices were removed.
Do you want KDE to permanently forget about these devices?

and then the my sound cards are displayed ( one onboard and one ati sound card )
when i go in manage my sound devices my sound cards are show in grey color

I had to remove amarok the it workd fine...but i loved that player so is
there any way using amarok on gnome ?

Hello
Can you try to reinstall it purging on first the cache with
sudo apt-get clean
and reinstall amarock from synaptic package manager?
