Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Shortly after upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10 I found that my Dell D610 laptop was locking up. On further investigation I found that it happens within a few minutes of my screen saver (ant-headlight) activating and seems independent of other user apps that are running.

Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. I would firstly like to ask what specific problems you are facing when your laptop 'locks up' and whether you are facing the same problems with different screensavers or just with the ant-headlight screensaver.
Secondly, after your laptop 'locks up' are you able to enter the Linux terminal by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1?
You may also want to look at this page for possible solutions to your problem: https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/X/Troublesh ooting/ Other
Thanks.
