Binary package hint: usb-modeswitch-data
The UMW190, Verizon's current CDMA/GSM offering from Pantech, is not present in the database. Attached is a file containing the necessary bits, adapted from the very similar UM185E file.

For anyone coming across this bug report while trying to use this modem with Ubuntu, Network Manager does not support it (at least for USA-based users on Verizon's CDMA network) as of the time of this bug report.
I have filed bug 657136 to cover the related problem. Until bug 657136 is fixed, see the workaround referenced there.
