[maverick] git-cola action panel has no button anymore

Binary package hint: git-cola

The action panel (which can be enabled and disabled via the tools menu), used to have several button allowing to perform actions to remote repositories like push, pull, fetch etc.

Now these buttons are missing and the panel is empty. I have found no other way to perform the tasks that this panel use to have within git-cola.

According to upstream bug this is possibly a python-qt4 problem, since this issue happens with python-qt4 4.7.4 and python-qt 4.7.5, but not with python-qt4 4.7.3

(upstream is me, I guess) I'm going to subscribe to the pyqt4 info list and see if I can get some help there. I'm not really sure what would cause this.

After installing 10.10 I was able to find a workaround/fix for the behavior change. I just released git-cola 1.4.2.5 with this bugfix.

I hope it's not too late to get this bugfix into Ubuntu 10.10. I've gotten several reports about this problem there. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.

Thank you David. I will upload it in Debian first and then request a sync with Ubuntu. Maverick has just been released but we can SRU it. I will take care of this as soon as I can.
