Crash when attempting to print or save custom cropped scan

When scanning an A4 sheet, I can save the full page easily enough, but if I try and save or print after setting a custom crop, it crashes with a segmentation fault. This is with all updates applied to Ubuntu 10.10.

I attach the the --debug output, although it doesn't look terribly useful.

please run:
simple-scan --debug > simple-scan.log 2>&1
to also fetch the stderr output. and please take a look at Bug #645901 maybe that's what you suffering from.
