Bug Description

Binary package hint: cups

When using Open Office 3.2.0 all black fonts are printed as middle green. Resetting the entire document to either Automatic or black still produces green fonts. This did not begin until after the most recent CUPS upgrade. Current CUPS version is 1.4.3. CUPS-driver-gutenprint is 5.2.5. Ghostscript-cups is 8.71.dfsg.1. Hpijs and hplip are 3.1.2-2. Libcups2, libcupscgi1, libcupsdriver1, libcupsimage2, libcupsmime1, and libcupsppdc1 are all 1.4.3. Libgutenprint2 is 5.2.5-0. I also show a related min12xxw which shows as 0.0.9-3, a python-cups that is listed as 1.9.49-0, a python-cupshelpers and system-config-printer-common, system-config-printer-gnome and system-config-printer-udev all version 1.2.0+20100408-0. And a listing for a bluez-cups 4.60-0. I'm using ubuntu 10.04, my current installed image is 2.6.32-21.32, this is for an ASUS 900 netbook. I used the netbook version for my original installation.

Download full text (3.3 KiB)

Thank you for the update. Since I'm using Lynx I'll do some manual resets for the printer for right now. I appreciate the efforts.
