Bug Description
After following README's configure, make install instructions on a NetBSD machine, running byobu brings up
sed: unknown option -- i
This is because BSD's sed is different from the GNU sed byobu was probably expecting.
The quick way around this problem on many BSD machines is to call 'gsed -i' which is what BSD calls the GNU version of sed. Is there a way to make the configure script notice if you have 'gsed' and use that instead?
