Error ED423: Font file '//usr/share/salasaga/ttf/DejaVuSans.ttf' could not be opened by FreeType.

Binary package hint: salasaga

I'm on Lucid lynx. When i start salasaga(0.8-alpha7) i obtain the Error ED423(as you can see in screenshot). After that salasaga's main window open.I don't know if it's a serious bug or no so i report it here. Googling all i can find is http://tinyurl.com/2bp4mgh .

i forget to report that after installation(from ubuntu repo) miss the salasaga's png icon in Graphics menu. I do it manually

Ok i'm new to salasaga but i guess here's a real bug. When i clik on flash button salasaga quit itself and no .swf file is generated in the output directory (Lucid lynx amd64)

I just installed Salasaga (from Ubuntu Software Center) Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 in Acer Aspire One Happy. When I run Salasaga, always appear the error dialog as in #1.

Hi, I had this bug too, but it was solved with a few commands :

cd /usr/share/salasaga
mkdir ttf
sudo cp /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/* ./ttf/

Thank you very much @Marwane K.A. Your workaround work s fine ;-). Now Error ED423 window not appears. The packager must take in account your hint i guess

for newbies more than me the @Marwane K.A.'s 2nd command miss a sudo: sudo mkdir ttf ;-)
