Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please provide us with some steps that cause empathy to use 100% CPU.

I can try. I had facebook and aim connected. Facebook seemed to be acting
funny.

I got the same problem.. when empathy is running the process telepathy-butterfly uses 80% cpu and even more.
Also the contacts of msn doesn't show.
