Closing GVim crashes Unity

GVim seems to work fine, but when I close it with its :q command, Unity crashes bringing down Gnome Terminal if it was running.
Always reproducible on my PC.

However I can't reproduce that with the current version of Unity and vim-gnome.

Can you detail the package version you're using to try and reproduce the issue?

My vim-gnome version is 2:7.2.330-1ubuntu3 and unity 0.2.38-0ubuntu1, it was happening both on a 32 and 64 bit installations.

Please try opening GVIM along with a Terminal, open a document in GVIM (please do it with :e) and then close with :q.
It was always reproducible on my system with Intel X4500 graphics until earlier today.

An update a few hours ago made it impossible for me to login to Unity anymore :( (bug 638725)

By the way, everything works fine when I login to regular Gnome session.

Please let me know what other info I can provide.

Tomorrow I'll try to reinstall UNE on a separate partition and make more tests.

OK, after today's update of mesa I can log in to Unity again.

I have tested and it doesn't occur any more.
I also noticed that another bug that I filed (duplicate of bug 637108) has also gone.

I believe that these two bugs were linked to the same package indicator-appmenu which affects maximized windows.

I am closing this bug as resolved.
