Bug Description

Hello,
Fedora 13,
Kde 4.4.5,
cairo-dock-2.1.3.9-3.fc13.i686 wiith OpenGL
cairo-dock -v
2.1.3-9
compiz-0.8.6-1.fc13.i686

the keyboard indicator desklet is empty, thus providing no indication as to what layout is currently active.

moreover, when using the scroll or left click on the desklet, the dock crash and restart.

the debug output when doing so is as follows:

debug : (applet-xklavier.c:cd_xkbd_set_prev_next_group:39)
  keyboard current state : 135274624;157846312 +-1
warning : (cairo-dock.c:_cairo_dock_intercept_signal:184)
  Cairo-Dock has crashed (sig 11).
It will be restarted now (cairo-dock -l debug).
Feel free to report this bug on glx-dock.org to help improving the dock !
info on the system :
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.i686.PAE #1 SMP Tue Aug 17 22:39:27 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
The applet 'keyboard indicator' may be the culpritmessage : (cairo-dock-dock-manager.c:cairo_dock_initialize_dock_manager:73)

Thanks,
YB.

Download full text (3.1 KiB)

the crash is fixed in the 2.2
however, this is a bug in libxklavier on 64bits
as you can see, the current keyboard state is non-sens :
  "keyboard current state : 135274624;157846312"
where it should be small numbers (< 32)
we've already reported a long time ago, it but it has not been fixed, but
I'd appreciate you report it one more time.
