I realize this is >1 yr. old, I am looking at other bugs reports in gdecrypt.

Ubuntu 10.10 will be out of support in April 2012, it's very unlikely there will be a fix in a non-LTS version this close to EOL.

Marking as invalid, if you can reproduce this in the latest stable or development version of Ubuntu, please open a new bug.
