Please, upgrade tovid to 0.33 in maverick.

Note that tovid 0.33 do not use autoconf anymore:

In this release, we are making an effort to move away from autoconf and automake, and towards distutils for all building, installing, uninstalling, and packaging. What does this mean to you?

The most important thing is that you have a new way to install tovid from the .tar.gz distribution. Instead of this:

./configure
su -c 'make install'
# or
sudo make install

You can do this:

su -c './setup.py install'
# or
sudo ./setup.py install

FF is in effect now, I will work on this in time for Maverick+1.

I didn't see an up-to-date Ubuntu package for tovid, and I couldn't find an up-to-date Debian package of another variety elsewhere, either. I banged my head on the keyboard for a while and brought the old tovid package up to date. While the project doesn't necessarily use autoconf, my package uses it because I wanted to change it as little as possible, and didn't feel like making a new one from scratch. I plan to fix it, but for now I mostly want to get to bed (it's ~3am).

I'm sure my package is gimmicky in some ways, but I want to improve it and if it turns out that this isn't a priority for anyone else, I'd be happy to continue working on it.

In the meantime, your Ubuntu users at least have something they can use to get a proper installation of tovid.

    - Look up helper scripts in /usr/share/tovid, not /usr/lib/tovid

    - End the categories list in the desktop file with a semicolon,
      per the XDG standard (checked by desktop-file-validate).
  * Added tovid_manpage.patch:
    - Edits to tovid.1 to make Lintian happy.
