evince pdf printing problem (renders fine)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

A PDF file I have displays fine in Evince. Upon printing it I discover only one page prints correctly. This problem can also be seen in Print Preview. Problematic file attached. All works correctly in Adobe Reader 9 (in partner repos I believe)

When you say that one of the pages is printed incorrectly, do you mean that part of that page got cut off? This bug sounds similar to bug 256736.

No, on the first page there are three columns. One columns displays fine (as does the whole of the second page) but in the second two, only the little red "choices" render. The rest of the page does not print (although on print preview it is shown in miniature in the corner of the page).

Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" will be released tomorrow. Can you please try the Live CD and see if this still happens?

This does still happen in Maverick. The screenshot attached shows the discrepancy between the actual page shown in Evince, and the print preview dialog.

(the strange screenshot dimensions are because I have two monitors)

I can confirm this issue. The center column is not rendered correctly under Print Preview.

Also, I arrived to this bug report because certain PDF files produced by LateX are displayed correctly in Evince main window, but not in Print Preview (and therefore, not in printed paper.) Seem to be the same issue.
