Package concepts need to be explained better

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

Feedback from user testing suggests that users don't understand various aspects of software installation in Ubuntu. Quoting:

https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/add-applications/C/installation-windows-ubuntu.html no longer exists, nor is it found in the saucy documentation. There is probably a page out there that addresses this now.
