Bug Description

Ethernet and wireless worked with windows 7. I made a full hdd install of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS: Ethernet not working. It recognize "auto eth0" but can't connect the web: it says "you are disconnected" after trying to connect. Wireless connections are recognized also but I have no password access to test it. I tried the solutions in comments #13 and #15 on the Bug #557048: nothing changes about networking.
