Bug Description

I have latest Kubuntu 10.10 with KDE SC 4.5.0. Font version 0.1.8~ppa1. Font size 10. Look it in attachment. Too fat borders on "M" letter.

I'm still trying to puzzle this one out. One possibility is that the hinting change from straight stems to rounded stems for the 'M' is occurring too early, before there are enough pixels available to make a good job of the near-vertical curve.
