IMPORTANTE: este mismo Raid0 ha sido configurado en Bios, asignando dos LD; reparticionado y usado con normalidad en Fedora 13 actualmente y con anterioridad con Ubuntu 9.04 (después, con 9.10 y 10.04 puedes instalar, pero grub2 no se instala automáticamente).

Fedora 13 it is recognized without problems.

Confirmed:
the problem is not gparted, it is in ubuntu.

I have no idea where, but ...
several versions of Fedora and Gparted-live, no problems detected the raid:

Thank you for testing these other versions of GParted. The fixes in GParted to get it to work with Ubuntu will be in an upcoming GParted 0.6.3 release planned upstream for later this month.

If you are up to compiling the GParted source code, you could download the git version and test it to confirm that it resolves the problem for you.

A link to instructions on how to do this are included in comment #2.

I confirm that the binary compiled with the source downloaded from git://git.gnome.org/gparted/ resolves the problem. This version detect a RAID1 device on Ubuntu 10.04.1 (live CD i386).

Thank you Julien for confirming that the changes included in the git repository do resolve the problem.

As mentioned earlier, an upstream release of GParted 0.6.3 is planned for later this month.
