Bug Description

I was trying to dynamically render a chart, I am also attaching the required files

Template = sourceFile.odt
Result = resultFile.odt

CodeFile = render.py

Note: in the resultFile.odt the chart is empty and the table disappears, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, is there a tutorial somewhere for rendering charts as well.

Dear Shomiron,
Here is a new version of Appy that corrects the main problems.
The remaining problem is that the chart is not automatically updated when OpenOffice opens result.odt.
Could you try to run OpenOffice in server mode and call the Renderer with the option "forceOoCall=True" ?
In the script that calls OO (named converter.py, yes I know in this case no conversion is done), Appy asks OpenOffice to perform some updates on the file (update indexes, and other stuff => Maybe OLE objects will be updated, too...)
Thank you
Gaetan

Dear Gaetan,

Thanks a million for the update, it does fix the issues, if you are
rendering a pdf using an headless openoffice instance you do not need to
provide the forceOoCall parameter either.

Thanks a Million, we are extremely pleased to see this working.

Warm Regards,
Shomiron
