Thanks for your report.

This kind of error usually occurs when an upgrade is aborted due to a system freeze. If it's still an issue, could you please open a terminal and run the command:
$ sudo dpkg --configure -a

This will finish the upgrade of the unconfigured packages. If it is fixed then set the status of this report to 'invalid'

After removing the "new" memory from my system this issue went away (along with the random other crashes).
