Bug Description

Sound was working before now. Suddenly it stopped working, I hear some cracking sounds when playing music on the sysytem. I have windows 7 as well on another partition, and sound is working fine on it.

Your PCm volume is turned down completely. Either adjust the various volume controls availab ein the volume control preferences, or load up the alsamixer program in a terminal, and use the arrow keys to select the PCm volume, and use up/down arrow keys to turn up the volume for PCM.

 affects ubuntu/alsa-driver
 status invalid

Changed in alsa-driver (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
