Improvements for "Edit Profile": other messaging services

One or more fields "Other" that users can fill in would be helpful because students often use Facebook and chat there and adults may rather put in their Twitter / LinkedIn / identi.ca etc. ID instead of the ones provided.

I've spun up bug #1258067 for the "General" tab wishlist item to keep things separate.

Idea from Gregor in today's dev meeting:

The users will be able to add multiple addresses with a form (or maybe Pieform element) which will offer them a select/drop-down box with XY most used social websites so they will first select a social site/service and than in another textbox type/insert their personal address, e.g. http://twitter.com/johndoe or http://facebook.com/johndoe or http://en.linkedin.com/in/johndoe/

1. Browse to content -> Profile -> Social profiles
2. create a social media profile
3. browse to Portfolio and create/edit a Page
4. under the personal info tab add a social profile block
5. confirm that the social media profiles crated in step 2 can be selected ✔
6. confirm that the social media icons are displayed on the published page ✔

Adding user's social profile addresses feature (Bug #605749)

- Added ability to self import and import via admin the socialprofile
fields, whether the leap2a file is made with this patch or with older
mahara

- Note: the msn messaging profile will not import into the new system
as it is obsolete
