After suspend/resume, NetworkManager gets page allocation failure. Right afterwards ifconfig also fails with the same error, rendering both wired and wireless connections unusable. See attachment for relevant kern.log output. Similar to

Same issue here, on 32-bit Ubuntu 10.04. First noticed it after recent system update.
