torrent fails in KTorrent while works in Transmission

Binary package hint: ktorrent

Ubuntu 9.10, KTorrent 3.2.4 (latest update from apt-get)

When open some torrents get "There is a problem with the tracker: invalid data from tracker".
However those torrents work fine in Transmission.

Am getting a similar problem - Most torrents are giving a "invalid torrent" error in ktorrent but working in other bittorrent clients.

An error occurred while loading the torrent /tmp/***************.torrent:
Parse Error
The torrent is probably corrupt or is not a valid torrent file.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.
I tried to download the specified torrent, to see whether it still is a problem, but it is not available anymore...?

So, it would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect 603864 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
