Bug Description

I started PC normally, the way I start daily but got message indicating disk errors during boot time. I opted to fix the errors by pressing "F". Machine got restarted after opting for fixing the errors. On next logon it again disaplyed disk errors. After choosing fix this time, machine booted properly. In the system report I got the message saying linux-image-2.6.32-23.... failed to upgrade or install.

It looks like X crashed during the middle of the upgrade. You may try running "sudo apt-get install -f" in a terminal, and see if that works.
